During the fall semester of my senior year, I had the privilege of participating in a footwear design workshop. In this workshop, I undertook the exciting task of crafting footwear designs that were tailored to the unique tastes and lifestyles of my chosen target market: dynamic and cosmopolitan 20-30-year-old women living in major cities. These individuals are actively engaged in the realms of arts and culture, and their fashion choices are a reflection of their vibrant personalities and evolving sensibilities.
The footwear capsule I created was not just about shoes; it was a statement that resonated with contemporary trends and cultural nuances. Drawing inspiration from the prevailing fashion landscape, my designs spoke to a range of themes, each catering to the diverse preferences of my target audience. The capsule encompassed four distinct themes that are at the forefront of the fashion landscape: restorative realms, escapist dress, elevated everyday, and digitopia.
